In January 2017, I accepted a position as a front desk agent for my internship. As a front desk agent, I performed various duties such as processing guests arrival to the hotel and their departure. This involves verifying their reservation, selecting the appropriate room according to the room type they have booked, and collecting the proper form of payment. Aside from the guests' arrival and departure, I focus on the quality of their time at our hotel by accommodating their special requests.
Requirements & Qualifications
-High school diploma/GED required -2 years of hospitality experience preferred but not required -Excellent communication and verbal skills

Achievements
After holding a position such as this one, I am proficient in Hilton's OnQ system which is the program that all Hilton brand properties use. I have also improved my customer service skill tremendously, and have experience in working at a property that is going through a major hotel-wide renovation.
